European Project Space  – VaVeL project presentation in Porto by Dr. Marcin Luckner

The VaVeL project was presented at the European Project Space (EPS) by Dr. Marcin Luckner. EPS intends it to be a forum to gather research groups and companies that are involved in European R&D projects, and disseminate results at a technical exhibition and a panel session. 

The main themes of the EPS that was held in Porto were related to the following areas: Smart Cities, Green IT Systems, Vehicle Technology, and Intelligent Transport Systems.

Plenary Meeting at Haifa

A very productive meeting has just been completed in Haifa, Israel. Hosted at the Technion campus in Haifa, the partners discussed and resolved issues related to the integration of the first modules into a solid prototype that will be used for evaluation and demonstration purposes. 

Dr. Maciej Grzenda gave VaVeL presentation at the Big Data seminar hosted by the Embassy of Poland in Brussels

VaVeL project develops new methods of processing Big Data collected from urban sensors. As a major Big Data initiative, the VaVeL project has been selected for the presentation as one of Big Data success stories at a two-day seminar on 21-22 March 2017 in Brussels, hosted by the Embassy of Poland . The event has been attended by the representatives of both enterprises providing Big Data solutions  and European Commission. The agenda of the meeting included presentations of European Commission representatives and industry.

The VaVeL project presented at the computer expo CeBIT 2017

AGT International participated at the largest computer expo in the world CeBIT at 20-24 March in Hannover. The company presented the VaVeL and two other EU research projects (CPaaS.io and GrowSmarter) at the Smart City Forum hall, Public Sector Parc.

Smart City Forum is organized by Urban Institute and unites a range companies, research institutes, and projects dedicated to the development of Smart City applications and urban solutions. In particular, the forum included the following companies’ booths: Deutsche Telekom, Microsoft, SAP, and others.
