VaVeL project was selected as a reference example of the cooperation of enterprises, academia, and public sector to be presented at the ICT/FET Horizon 2020 Information Day. The representatives of VaVeL partners, namely of Orange Polska telecom (Dr Jarosław Legierski), Warsaw University of Technology (Dr Maciej Grzenda) and the City of Warsaw (Robert Kunicki) delivered a presentation on the expectations and contribution of the partners in VaVeL project. This invited talk of VaVeL representatives followed the presentation of forthcoming ICT funding opportunities and served as an example of reference cooperation of project partners in Horizon 2020 projects.
The presentation emphasized the benefits arising from the cooperation of the cities (represented by Warsaw and Dublin in the project) defining challenging problems with academia developing new algorithms and methods, and industry partners sharing their expertise in the integration of system components. Moreover, examples of cooperation among project partners with particular attention to international links established in the project have been discussed.
