Plenary Meeting at Athens

A very productive meeting has just been completed in Athens, Greece. Hosted at the Univeristy of Athens campus in Athens. Moreover, the consortium discussed how to take advantage of the
reviewers' suggestions after VaVeL's first evaluation.

Best Paper Award at COSIT’17

VaVeL member Thomas Liebig received the best paper award at COSIT conference in L’Aquila for his paper with Maurice Sotzny, on avoiding traffic jams with dynamic self-organizing trip planning.

Demo on Reusable Elements (DEBS'2017)

A demo on reusable elements was presented on June 21, 2017 at ACM DEBS'2017 in Barcelona. DEBS (Distributed and  Event Based Systems) is a leading conference in the research areas of event-based, pub-sub, and stream systems. The demo presented a flexible architecture that can gracefully cope with varying levels of data availability.

VaVeL consortium successfully submitted First Deliverable Reports

VaVeL consortium has marked an important milestone in its work submitting first set of deliverables. The deliverables describe in detail the progress which has been achieved to date in various directions of work of the consortium. The documents can be accessed in the Deliverables section of the website (http://www.vavel-project.eu/deliverables).
